At Amruté, we set out to bring the richness and authenticity of real Indian chai to everyday life — in a way that’s effortless, clean, and deeply satisfying.

Our name is inspired by an ancient Indian legend — the Samudra Manthan, or churning of the cosmic ocean. In this story, the world’s great forces join to stir the ocean in pursuit of something pure. From that deep, powerful effort emerges Amrut — the nectar of vitality and life.

That moment of balance, intention, and reward is the soul of Amruté. Something timeless, drawn from care.

Why We Started

As a husband-and-wife team — with roots in both India and the U.S. — chai has always been part of our story. It’s been on our stove, in our hands, and at the center of conversations and comfort for years.

We noticed something was missing: A chai that felt just right.

Too often, what we found was overly sweet, artificial, or disconnected from its roots. So we set out to change that — creating a chai that’s clean, comforting, and true to tradition, yet effortless to make and easy to love.

That’s how Amruté was born.

Today, we’re proud to bring our blends to homes, cafés, hotels, and partners across the country — sharing something that feels familiar, tastes exceptional, and brings people together.
